With her extensive experience in both the news media and corporate worlds, BBC broadcaster Katie Derham works to broad and specific briefs preparing C-suite individuals and teams for media appearances, announcements or events.

We like to fully immerse ourselves in your story – and then fully immerse you in realistic scenarios. For broadcast appearances, our media coaching generally happens in a professional studio to familiarize you with the reality of different television and radio shows, preparing you fully for a range of different media outlets and interview techniques. We can also provide more relaxed media coaching and preparation in your own offices or remotely.

We work with you on what you want to say, delivery, comportment and confidence, advising how to best communicate your messaging in interviews, whatever the scenario. We also offer half day Communication Strategy Workshops with teams on refining media messaging for different scenarios and platforms.

Global education provider Cognita wanted to raise their media profile around their work on student and teacher wellbeing.

We worked with Cognita on developing their editorial media strategy, part of which involved media training their Director of Wellbeing Beth Kerr in preparation for television and radio broadcast appearances.

We worked with Beth to hone the brand’s messaging around wellbeing and on how to deal with pressurized interviews with national press.

We secured several appearances on ITV News and national radio for Beth where she delivered on-brand messaging that fitted the topical news agenda. Her performance worked for both broadcaster and brand – she’s become a regular contributor on several media channels.
